Fashion 101: Chic Read For Fashionistas!

Since it's summer time and most of us are in holiday/sabbatical/hiatus mode,why not pick up a book or 2 off the bookstore's shelves and spend some time reading chic books about fashion&lifestyle?Not only will you gain knowledge,you'll also have the tendency to be more stylish and articulate when mingling at social events!So start reading!Here are the list of (recommended)chic fashion&lifestyle book to read:

1. Influence (Authors: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen)

This book is more like a compilation of mini autobiography of the main icons in our modern times who has a very big influence in the world of fashion,entertainment,and photography(to name but a few).In this coffee table book,MKA will be the ones interviewing the selected icons,so expect to see more of them and less of MKA(though they do have their own pages as well).Among the people interviewed are Diane Von Furstenberg,Karl Lagerfeld,Lauren Hutton,Lazaro Hernandez&Jack McCollough(of Proenza Schouler),Francisco Costa(of Calvin Klein),and Margherita Missoni(to name a few).Expect to see a lot of cool and inspiring photos and be prepared to be influenced! Anyone who's in tune with the fashion industry will most likely to read the Who What Wear Daily news religiously.This book is pretty much the same and as similar as the WWWD online.The awesome part is that it features a lot of photos and tips that you might need.A must-have for the fashion-challenged,as using this book as a style guide is pretty easy(just refer to the photos).
