Whether you love or hate the plotlines on Gossip Girl, you gotta love the unforgettable style in each week’s episode. Headbands and bows play off designer dresses and haute handbags, making it one of the most talked-about fashion showcases since “Sex and the City.”

Enter costume designer Eric Daman. The styling genius behind “Gossip Girl,” Daman got his styling start with Patricia Fields on “Sex and the City” and doing high fashion editorials for tastemaking mags like Visionaire, The Face, and I.D. Now he’s got his dream job managing a power team of 25 stylists on “Gossip Girl” and Variety once called him “the world’s fiercest costume designer.”

Daman’s favorite trends for fall? Belted boyfriend cardigans and highwaisted pencil skirts. His favorite “Gossip Girl” character to dress? Chuck Bass. “It’s fun to push men’s fashion and let straight guys know that they can dress fashionably, too,” says Daman.
